What an amazing day in the house of the Lord! We worshiped yesterday in our newly renovated Worship Center and it was an incredible testament to God’s faithfulness. Pastor Mel presented Rev. Irvin Pearre and his wife, Euphemia, with a pew from from the previous Worship Center. Pastor Mel then asked Irvin to pray over those from our next generation who have been called by God into full time ministry. Dr. Charles Carter and Margaret were also presented a pew. Dr. Carter then spoke passionately about his love for our church and for our Lord. The choir and orchestra were in full force as we praised God through music. Pastor Mel then challenged us to examine what captures our hearts. We are so thankful to all those who had a part in this entire process. It has been great to see the Body of Christ work together as a team towards a common goal.

WOW! It looks amazing! I was so wanting to be there for this. No matter where I may be geographically, my home will always be at FBCJ. God is doing a mighty work. I will continue to pray for His hand to be at work in the church. Miss everyone!
